Northwest Ag Show is open

Farmers check out the exhibits at the Northwest Ag Show at the Oregon State Fair and Expo Center in Salem. The show is open until 5 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

SALEM — The Northwest Ag Show is at the Oregon State Fair and Exposition Center through Friday.

It is the first time in more than 45 years that the show is being held in Salem.

The 2019 edition of the Northwest Ag Show features Oregon’s major farm-equipment retailers and a whole slate of activities, ranging from seminars and presentations to a career expo.

In addition, the show serves as the signature event and launch of the first-ever Salem Ag Week, a week-long celebration of agriculture in the heart of the Willamette Valley.

Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday.

Admission: $3, $1 for seniors. Children under 12 are free. On Friday, the admission is free for all attendees.
