Cory Carman of Wallowa, Ore., has been appointed to the Oregon Farm Service Agency State Committee, according to Lynn Voigt, executive director of Oregon FSA.

Carman and her husband, David Flynn, own and operate Carman Ranch. The ranch produces pure bred bulls and raises beef that it sells through local and regional food systems.

Carman joins Hood River orchardist Sam Asai, Boardman hay farmer Vern Frederickson, Hillsboro grass seed and grain farmer Bob VanderZanden, and Deschutes County rancher Jason Smith on the committee.
