Gavilon Grain LLC plans to build a corn steam flaking mill with new grain handling, storage and cleaning systems at its facility in Burley, Idaho.
The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality seeks public comment by June 25 on a proposed air-quality permit to construct for Gavilon. The proposed permit would regulate emissions from the company’s animal feed manufacturing facility at 1111 Bedke Blvd., Burley.
Idaho DEQ reviewed the permit application and determined construction and operation of the equipment under the proposed permit conditions will not cause or contribute to a violation of any ambient air quality standard, the department said in a release.
