CME feeder contracts have posted losses 9 days in a row as of today’s close. Slaughter cows where uneven, Holstein cows 1.00-2.00 higher, beef type cows where weak. Slaughter bulls 2.00-3.00 lower. Trade active with good demand for all classes. Slaughter cows 65 percent, slaughter bulls 10 percent, and feeders 25 percent of the supply. The feeder supply included 56 percent steers and 44 percent heifers. Near 66 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
