ALBANY, OR. Coastal Farm & Ranch is supporting the ABC House’s efforts to fight child abuse in Benton and Linn Counties.

“For every baby chick sold at our Albany store this April, we’re donating a dollar to the ABC House,” says Coastal owner Buzz Wheeler. “The ABC House is very close to our hearts and we want to help and support their efforts to fight child abuse.”

Coastal Farm & Ranch traditionally sells hundreds and hundreds of baby chicks every spring at all 15 of their Northwest stores. The annual event draws families into the stores to see over a dozen varieties of chicks.

“My wife Sheila is very involved with the ABC House,” says Wheeler. “We decided it was important to have our store positively impact the welfare of the children, youth and families of our local communities. We are thrilled to be involved with ABC House and their fantastic work.”

Coastal’s local store is located just off the Santiam Highway in Albany at 1355 Goldfish Road.
