The Wilco agricultural supply cooperative, based in Mount Angel, Ore., plans to move and expand its retail location in Lebanon, Ore.

The store, which is scheduled to open in early 2012, will feature about 45,000 square feet of retail, outdoor garden and warehouse space, up from about 8,000 square feet at its current location across the street.

Doug Hoffman, the cooperative's CEO, said Wilco bought the original Lebanon location two years ago but has now outgrown it.

The store is primarily focused on consumers who live on acreage in the country, he said. Livestock supplies, garden supplies, clothing, hardware and other goods will be available at the location.

Wilco operates 12 retail stores in the Northwest, including one scheduled to open in Gig Harbor, Wash., in September.

The cooperative also owns fertilizer and bulk fuel facilities geared toward full-time farmers, with total annual sales of more than $200 million. Visit for more information.
