Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Oregon during February by unit trains only, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full February delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

March wheat futures in midday trading were 18-3/4 to 23 cents per bushel higher compared to Tuesday's closes.

Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for February delivery by unit trains were not well tested in early trading but were indicated as steady to ten cents per bushel higher than Tuesday's noon bids for February delivery.

Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat were for February delivery and trended 14 to 23 cents per bushel higher than Tuesday's noon bids. Higher Kansas City March wheat futures supported bids. Bids were not well tested in early trading as several exporters were not issuing bids for nearby delivery.

Bids for 14 percent protein non-guaranteed US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat were for February delivery and trended 21 to 22 cents per bushel higher than Tuesday's noon bids. Higher Minneapolis March wheat futures supported bids. Bids were not well tested in early trading as several exporters were not issuing bids for nearby delivery.

Bids for US 2 barley for February delivery were not well tested.

Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn delivered to Portland in single rail cars trended 3-3/4 cents per cwt higher than Tuesday's noon bids. Higher Chicago March corn futures supported cash bids. Bids for corn bids truck delivered to the Yakima Valley were not well tested.
