Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Ore., during December by unit trains and barges, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full December delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

March wheat futures trended 12-1/2 to 16-1/2 cents per bushel lower compared to Tuesday's noon futures closes.

Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for December delivery in unit trains or barges were not fully established in early trading but were indicated as five cents per bushel lower compared to Tuesday's noon bids.

Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for December delivery were not fully established in early trading, but were indicated as 16 cents per bushel lower in response to the lower Kansas City March wheat futures in early trading.

Bids for 14 percent protein non-guaranteed US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for December delivery were not fully established in early trading, but were indicated as 12 cents per bushel lower than Tuesday's noon bids. Bids were supported by the lower Minneapolis wheat futures. Protein scales for non-guaranteed 14.0 percent protein were plus 10 to 20 cents each 1/4 of a percent of protein up to 16 percent protein and minus 25 to 30 cents each 1/4 of a percent of protein down to 13 percent protein.

Bids for US 2 Barley for December delivery were not well tested.

Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn delivered to Portland in single rail cars trended 21-1/4 to 22-1/2 cents per cwt lower compared to Tuesday's noon bids, and bids for corn truck delivered to the Yakima Valley trended 22-1/2 cents per cwt lower compared to Tuesday's bids. Bids were pressured by the lower Chicago corn futures.
