Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full May delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.
July wheat futures closed 1/2 of a cent to 2 cents per bushel lower compared to Monday's closes.
Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for May Portland delivery trended steady to ten cents per bushel higher compared to Monday's noon bids. Bids were higher despite the lower Chicago July wheat futures.
Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for May delivery were two cents per bushel lower than Monday's noon bids in lining up with the lower Kansas City July wheat futures.
Bids for 14 percent protein US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for May delivery trended one cent per bushel lower than Monday's noon bids in reaction to the lower Minneapolis July spring wheat futures.
Bids for US 2 Barley for May delivery were not available as exporters were not issuing bids for May delivery.
Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn were 6-1/4 to 11-1/4, mostly 6-1/4 cents per cwt higher than Monday's noon bids due to higher Chicago July corn futures. Corn bids truck delivered to the Yakima Valley were also supported by a higher basis bid by some corn traders.
