Bids as of 9:30 a.m.; subject to change.

Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Ore., during February by unit trains only, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full February delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

March wheat futures in midday trading were 20 to 24 cents per bushel lower compared to Monday's closes.

Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for February delivery by unit trains were not available in early trading.

Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for February delivery were 20 cents per bushel lower than Monday's noon bids in a limited test in early trading. Bids were pressured by the moderately lower Kansas City March wheat futures.

Bids for 14 percent protein non-guaranteed US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for February delivery were not fully established in early trading but were indicated as 20 cents per bushel lower in lining up with the lower Minneapolis March wheat futures.

Bids for US 2 barley for February delivery were not well tested.

Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn delivered to Portland in single rail cars trended 2-1/2 to 6-1/4 cents per cwt lower than Monday's noon bids due to the lower Chicago March corn futures. Some corn traders raised their basis which tempered the declines. Bids for corn bids truck delivered to the Yakima Valley were not well tested.
