Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Ore., during December by unit trains and barges, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full December delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

March wheat futures trended mixed, from 3-3/4 cents lower to 2-1/2 cents higher, with the most decline in Kansas City and the advance in Minneapolis City.

Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for December delivery in unit trains or barges were not fully established in early trading but were indicated as steady to five cents per bushel lower compared to Monday's noon bids.

Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for December delivery were not fully established in early trading, but were indicated as four cents per bushel lower in response to the lower Kansas City March wheat futures in early trading.

Bids for 14 percent protein non-guaranteed US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for December delivery were not fully established in early trading, but were indicated as two cents per bushel higher than Monday's noon bids. Protein scales for non-guaranteed 14.0 percent protein were plus 15 to 20 cents each 1/4 of a percent of protein up to 16 percent protein and minus 25 to 30 cents each 1/4 of a percent of protein down to 13 percent

protein.

Bids for US 2 Barley for December delivery were not well tested.

Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn delivered to Portland in single rail cars and bids for truck delivered to the Yakima Valley were 3-3/4 cents per cwt lower in response to the lower Chicago March corn futures.
