Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Oregon during March by unit trains and barges, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full March delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

May wheat futures trended mixed, from 5-1/4 cents lower to 7-1/4 cents per bushel higher in early trading compared to Wednesday's closes.

Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for March delivery in unit trains or barges were not well tested in early trading, but trended generally steady compared to Wednesday's bids for March delivery.

Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for March delivery trended steady compared to Wednesday's noon bids for the same delivery period. Bids were not fully established in early trading.

Bids for 14 percent protein non-guaranteed US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for March delivery trended seven cents per bushel higher than Wednesday's noon bids. Bids were not fully established in early trading. Cash bids were supported by the higher Minneapolis May wheat futures.

Bids for US 2 Barley for March delivery were not well tested.

Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn delivered to Portland in single rail cars trended 8-3/4 cents per cwt lower than Wednesday's noon bids. Lower Chicago May corn futures pressured cash corn bids. Corn bids truck delivered to the Yakima Valley trended 8-3/4 to 10 cents per cwt lower compared to Wednesday's noon bids.
