Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Oregon during April by rail or barge, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full April delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.
July wheat futures closed five to 7-1/2 cents per bushel higher compared to Wednesday's closes.
Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for April Portland delivery trended five cents per bushel higher than Wednesday's noon bids.
Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for April delivery trended one to eight cents per bushel higher than Wednesday's noon bids. Higher Kansas City July wheat futures supported bids.
Bids for 14 percent protein US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for April delivery were three to five cents per bushel higher supported by higher Minneapolis July wheat futures.
Bids for US 2 Barley for April delivery were not available as exporters were not issuing bids for April delivery.
Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn delivered to Portland via single rail cars trended 8-3/4 to ten cents per cwt higher in response to the higher Chicago July corn futures. Corn bids truck delivered to the Yakima Valley were also 8-3/4 to ten cents per cwt higher due to the higher corn futures.
