Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Ore., during April by rail or barge, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full April delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

May wheat futures closed 5-1/2 to six cents per bushel higher compared to Wednesday's closes.

Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for April Portland delivery were steady compared to Wednesday's noon bids.

Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for April delivery were mixed, from one cent lower to six cents per bushel higher compared to Wednesday's noon bids. Higher Kansas City May wheat futures supported cash bids, while a lower basis bid by some exporters pressured cash bids.

Bids for 14 percent protein US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for April delivery were five cents per bushel higher, supported by higher Minneapolis May wheat futures at the close.

Bids for US 2 Barley for April delivery were not available as exporters were not issuing bids for April delivery.

Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn trended 8-3/4 to 10 cents per cwt higher in response to the higher Chicago May corn futures.
