Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Ore., during December by rail only, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full December delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.
March wheat futures in midday trading were 3-3/4 to five cents per bushel lower compared to Thursday's closes.
Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for December delivery by rail were not well tested in early trading but were indicated as steady compared to Thursday's noon bids.
Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for December delivery were not well tested in early trading. Several exporters were not issuing bids for nearby delivery.
Bids for 14 percent protein non-guaranteed US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for December delivery were also not fully established in early trading as most exporters were not issuing bids for nearby delivery.
Bids for US 2 barley for December delivery were not well tested.
Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn delivered to Portland in single rail cars trended five cents per cwt higher than Thursday's noon bids due to the higher Chicago March corn futures. Bids for corn bids truck delivered to the Yakima Valley were not well tested.
