Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Ore., during August by rail or barge, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full August delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.
September wheat futures in midday trading were mixed, from 3-1/4 cents lower to 1-1/4 cents per bushel higher compared to Friday's closes.
Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for August delivery were not fully established in early trading but bids were indicated as 25 to 50 cents lower for first half August delivery and 20 to 25 cents lower for last half August delivery compared to Friday's noon bids for the same
delivery periods.
Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for August delivery were not fully established in early trading.
Bids for 14 percent protein non-guaranteed US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for August delivery were not fully established in early trading as several exporters were not issuing bids for August new crop delivery.
Bids for US 2 barley for August delivery were not well tested.
Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn trended mixed, from 8-3/4 cents lower to instances of 26-1/4 cents per cwt higher than Friday's noon bids in early trading.
