Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Ore., during April by rail or barge, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full April delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

May wheat futures in midday trading trended mixed, from 1/2 of a cent lower to 1-1/4 cents per bushel higher compared to Friday's closes, with the decline in Kansas City and the advances in Chicago and Minneapolis.

Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for April delivery were not fully established in early trading but bids were indicated as steady to five cents per bushel higher compared to Friday's bids in a limited test in early trading.

Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for April delivery were not fully established in early trading but bids were indicated as generally one cent per bushel lower compared to Friday's noon bids in following the lower Kansas City May wheat futures.

Bids for 14 percent protein non-guaranteed US 1 Dark Northern Spring for April delivery were also not fully established in early trading but bids were indicated as one to two cents per bushel higher than Friday's noon bids. Higher Minneapolis May wheat futures were supportive to bids.

Bids for US 2 barley for April delivery were not well tested.

Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn trended 2-1/2 cents per cwt higher than Friday's bids in early trading due to higher Chicago May corn futures.
