Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Oregon during May by rail or barge, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full May delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

July wheat futures in midday trading trended three to 5-1/4 cents per bushel lower compared to Thursday's closes.

Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for May delivery were not fully established in early trading but bids were indicated as five to 10 cents per bushel lower than Thursday's noon bids in early trading.

Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for May delivery were not fully established in early trading but were indicated as four cents per bushel lower compared to Thursday's noon bids in lining up with the lower Kansas City July wheat futures.

Bids for 14 percent protein non-guaranteed US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for May delivery were also not fully established in early trading but were indicated as three cents per bushel lower. Lower Minneapolis July wheat futures pressured cash bids. Some exporters are not bidding for nearby delivery.

Bids for US 2 barley for May delivery were not well tested.

Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn trended 16-1/4 to 17-1/2 cents per cwt lower in response the lower Chicago July corn futures.
