Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Ore., during April by rail

or barge, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars

per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as

specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full April

delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

May wheat futures closed two to 3-1/2 cents per bushel lower

compared to Thursday's closes.

Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for April Portland delivery were steady

compared to Thursday's noon bids. **Some exporters are currently not bidding

a premium for white club wheat.

Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for April

Delivery were steady to two cents per bushel lower pressured the lower

Kansas City May wheat futures, while slightly higher basis bid by some

exporters tempered declines somewhat.

Bids for 14 percent protein US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for April

delivery trended three to 13 cents per bushel lower, pressured by lower

Minneapolis May wheat futures and lower basis bid by some exporters.

Bids for US 2 Barley for April delivery were not available as

exporters were not issuing bids for April delivery.

Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn trended five cents per cwt lower in response

to the lower Chicago May corn futures.
