May wheat futures trended 14-1/4 to 16-1/4 cents per bushel lower compared to Thursday's closes.

Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for April delivery in unit trains or barges were not fully established in early trading but were indicated as steady to ten cents per bushel lower compared to Thursday's noon bids for April delivery.

Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for April delivery trended 14 cents per bushel lower compared to Thursday's noon bids. Bids were not fully established in early trading. Lower Kansas City May wheat futures pressured bids.

Bids for 14 percent protein non-guaranteed US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for April delivery trended 15 cents per bushel lower than Thursday's noon bids. Cash bids were pressured by lower Minneapolis May wheat futures. Bids were not fully established in early trading. Protein scales for non-guaranteed 14.0 percent protein were plus five cents each 1/4 of a percent of protein up to 16 percent protein and minus 15 cents each 1/4 of a percent of protein down to 13 percent protein.

Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn delivered to Portland in single rail cars trended 16-1/4 cents per cwt lower compared to Thursday's noon bids. Corn bids truck delivered to the Yakima Valley trended 16-1/4 cents per cwt lower than Thursday's noon bids. Higher Chicago May and July corn futures supported cash corn bids.
