DUBOIS, Wyo. (AP) -- State wildlife officials say they're keeping a close eye on some bighorn sheep near Dubois that have come down with pneumonia.
The sheep are in the Whiskey Mountain herd in the Wind River Range.
Game and Fish spokesman Mark Gocke says the sheep herd has struggled with several bouts of pneumonia over the years.
The Casper Star-Tribune reports Game and Fish is asking the public to report any signs that bighorn sheep have pneumonia. That includes coughing, nasal discharge or other abnormal behavior.
At least 10 bighorn sheep populations in four other Western states have come down with pneumonia over the past several months.
