Domestic wool trading on a greasy basis was slow this week. With confirmed sales of 22,000 lbs. Demand good. All prices reported on a weighted average. Territory states lamb wool. White face feedlot wool 21.0 micron 63mm BI pack $1.55; Bellies 23 micron $1.40.

Compared to last week slaughter lambs were steady to $10 lower, instances $20-25 lower. Slaughter ewes were weak to $10 lower. Feeder lambs not well tested. At San Angelo, Texas, 2,212 head sold in a one-day sale. Equity Electronic Auction sold 218 slaughter lambs in Nebraska.

In direct trading slaughter ewes not tested; feeder lambs steady. 5,000 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were $3 lower and 13,600 head of formula sales were uneven, carcasses over 85 lbs. were weak and 65-85 lbs. carcasses were sharply higher. 8,337 lamb carcasses sold with 45 lbs. and down $45.08 higher; 45-75 lbs. $.06-9.04 higher and 75 lbs. and up $.40-3.56 lower.
