Domestic wool trading on a clean basis was moderate this week with confirmed sales of 133,000 lbs. Demand moderate to good. Domestic wool trading on a greasy basis was slow with no confirmed sales this week. Demand good. All prices reported on a weighted average.

Compared to last week slaughter lambs were steady to $10 lower. Slaughter ewes were firm to $2 higher at San Angelo, Texas, and $10 lower at New Holland, Pa. Feeder lambs not well tested. At San Angelo, Texas, 2,359 head sold in a one-day sale. Equity Electronic Auction sold 240 slaughter lambs in Illinois. In direct trading slaughter ewes not tested; feeder lambs steady. 7,500 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were $1-2 lower and 12,000 head of formula sales were $4 lower. 7,949 lamb carcasses sold with 45 lbs. and down $15.69 higher and 45 lbs and up $.75-11.14 lower.

SLAUGHTER LAMBS Choice and Prime 2-3 90-160 lbs.:

San Angelo: shorn and wooled 100-170 lbs. $135-154.

SLAUGHTER LAMBS Choice and Prime 1:
