Compared to last week slaughter lambs were steady to $10 lower. Slaughter ewes were steady to $10 higher, except at St. Onge, S.D., and San Angelo, Texas, weak to $8 lower. Feeder lambs steady to $10 lower. At San Angelo, 5,980 head sold in a one day sale. Equity Electronic Auction sold 239 slaughter lambs in Nebraska. In direct trading slaughter ewes and feeder lambs not tested. 5,000 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were $2 lower and 11,300 head of formula sales were $3-4 lower. 8,841 lamb carcasses sold with 45 lbs. and down $26.77 lower; 45-55 lbs. $2.84 higher; 55 lbs. and up $1.13-2.01 lower.

SLAUGHTER LAMBS Choice and Prime 2-3 90-160 lbs.:

San Angelo: shorn and wooled 100-150 lbs. $120-143.
