Compared to last week slaughter lambs $5-15 higher; slaughter ewes steady to $8 higher; feeder lambs $5-15 higher. At San Angelo, Texas, 8,967 head sold in a one-day sale. Equity Electronic Auction sold 720 slaughter lambs in Wisconsin and North Dakota and 330 slaughter ewes in Nebraska. In direct trading slaughter ewes not tested; feeder lambs sharply higher; replacement ewes steady. 4,500 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were $4-5 higher and 13,500 head of formula sales were $1-2 lower. 11,109 lamb carcasses sold with 55 lbs. and down higher; 55 lbs. and up $3.71-5.11 higher.

SLAUGHTER LAMBS Choice and Prime 2-3 90-160 lbs.:

San Angelo: shorn and wooled 100-155 lbs. $132-148.

SLAUGHTER LAMBS Choice and Prime 1:

San Angelo: 40-60 lbs. $162-178, few 180; 60-80 lbs. $159-177, few $180-182; 80-90 lbs. $156-165, set $173; 90-110 lbs. $160-178.
