Compared to last week slaughter lambs steady to $6 higher, except at New Holland, Pa., sharply lower; slaughter ewes steady to $4 lower, except at San Angelo and St. Onge-Newell firm to $7 higher; feeder lambs steady to $5 higher, except at St. Onge $2-3 lower.

At San Angelo, Texas, 8,749 head sold in a one-day sale. Equity Electronic Auction sold 935 slaughter lambs in Wisconsin, Nebraska and North Dakota. In direct trading slaughter ewes $1-2 higher; feeder lambs steady. 4,300 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs sold $4 lower and 11,600 head of formulated sales were $2-3 lower. 9,759 carcasses sold with 45 lbs. and down higher; 45-65 lbs. lower; 65 lbs. up $1.56-2.45 lower.

SLAUGHTER LAMBS Choice and Prime 2-3 90-160 lbs.:

Intermountain area (Colorado, Montana, Wyoming): wooled 110-125 lbs. $125-131; 135-145 lbs. $117.50- 126.

SLAUGHTER LAMBS Good 1:
