ELLENSBURG, Wash. — Sarah Ryan, executive vice president of Washington Cattlemen’s Association for the past two years, has left that position to take a new job.

She will become a representative of  Boehringer-Ingelheim, a German pharmaceutical company. Her territory will be eastern Washington and part of Idaho.

Ryan’s last day with the association was May 10. The 13-member association board is accepting applications for a new executive vice president through May 20 and hopes to hire someone by June 15, said Bev Cridlebaugh, association office manager, in Ellensburg.

Ryan joined the association as executive director in June 2017. She succeeded Jack Field, who held the position 13 years and left to become executive director of the Washington Cattle Feeders Association.
