Compared to March 9: Domestic Alfalfa traded mostly steady in regions 1 through 5, however in Region 6 Alfalfa traded $5 lower, instances of $10 lower with buyers resistance. Retail/Stable hay continues to trade steady. Trade and Demand were moderate. Producers in Regions 1 through 5 continue to finish up on contract hay with rain in the forecast. Region 6 producers are still reporting a strong resistance to the new hay prices and a large variance in hay quality.
