Trade remains slow with good demand as both domestic and exporters are short bought and Supreme and Premium Alfalfa is in short supply and in firm hands. According to the USDA Hay plant- ings intention report released March 31, Washington State estimate is 60,000 acres below a year ago. Some interests now are starting to contract new crop Alfalfa for export. Retail/feed store/horse hay steady. Buyer demand is good with light supplies.
