Cattle Producers of Washington and the Stevens County Cattleman's Association have donated 500 pounds of "Product of Stevens County" lean ground beef valued at over $2,000 to the Stevens County Food Banks on March 30.

CPoW District 4 Director Scott Nielsen and Stevens County Cattleman's Association Director Don Dashiell made the delivery, according to a press release.

The beef was born and raised in Stevens County, Wash., by rancher Kenny Marx and purchased by the Stevens County Cattleman's Association with help from CPoW, Bull Hill Guest Ranch and processed by Gallo Meats of Colville, Wash., at no cost to the associations.
