CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly rose in early trading Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 2.50 cents to $6.28 a bushel; March corn rose 5.75 cents to $6.01 a bushel; March oats were unchanged at $3.15 a bushel; and January soybeans rose 10.25 cents to $11.46 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle slipped 0.30 cent to $1.2295 a pound; January feeder cattle fell 0.27 cent to $1.4680 a pound; while February lean hogs fell 0.30 cent to 88.92 cents a pound.
