CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were higher on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery jumped 11.25 cents to $4.54 a bushel, while December corn surged 18.5 cents to $3.60 a bushel and November soybeans soared 20 cents to $9.05 a bushel. Oats for December delivery climbed 7 cents to $2.29 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures fell and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle lost 0.37 cent to 82.3 cents a pound; October feeder cattle fell 0.5 cent to 92.85 cents a pound; October lean hogs rose 1.05 cents to 50.1 cents a pound; and February pork bellies advanced 2.7 cents to 80.4 cents a pound.
