CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures slid Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery sank 21.5 cents to $4.505 a bushel, while May corn dropped 9.5 cents to $3.45 a bushel and oats for May delivery fell 5.5 cents to $2.08 a bushel. May soybeans plummeted 33 cents to $9.41 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures advanced and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle edged up 0.38 cent to 93.55 cents a pound; May feeder cattle rose 2 cents to $1.1297 a pound; June lean hogs slipped 0.15 cent to 82.9 cents a pound; and May pork bellies lost 0.75 cent to 96.8 cents a pound.
