CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures fell early Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery dropped 6.5 cents to $5.775 a bushel; March corn slid 3.75 cents to $4.1075 a bushel; January soybeans shed 2 cents to $10.575 a bushel; and March oats tumbled 5.5 cents to $2.62 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures rose as pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle gained 0.13 cent to 84.95 cents a pound; January feeder cattle added 0.68 cent to 94.15 cents a pound; February lean hogs lost 0.55 cent to 66.40 cents a pound; and February pork bellies dropped 2.5 cents to 82.10 cents a pound.
