BROOKFIELD, WIS. â July 18 â Agri-Service of Twin Falls, Idaho, has been selected as the 2012 âBest-in-Class Farm Equipment Dealershipâ by Farm Equipment magazine.
Farm Equipment presents its âDealership of the Yearâ awards annually to farm equipment dealerships in two categories: one for those with $50 million and under in annual revenues and one for dealers generating more than $50 million in annual revenues.
Agri-Service, which is a nine-store retailer of MasseyÂ Ferguson and several shortline companies, earned the distinction this year in the over $50 million category not only for its outstanding financial and operational results, but also its attention to customer care (90%+ customer satisfaction), employee development and community involvement.
Nearly 100 dealerships were nominated for the award.
The dealership was chosen for the award by a panel of renowned farm equipment experts.Â In their selection of Agri-Service, the judges noted, âTheir three year growth was very strong and a 90%+ CSI was the best of all nominations.â
Farm Equipmentâs Dealership of the Year judging panel included Dr. W. David Downey, director, Center for Agricultural Business, Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind.; David L. Kahler, retired CEO of the Ohio-Michigan Equipment Dealers Assn., Dublin, Ohio; and Charles Glass, president, Glass Management Group, Arlington, Texas.
Agri-Service was founded in 1990 and since 2010 the dealership has been employee owned. The company has a strong focus on training. âWe are employee owned with a strong management team. We always try to have replacements trained for key positions,â says Clint Schnoor, chief operating officer. âWe enroll employees in manufacturer training and complete internal training many times per year.â
