Washington Farm Bureau hires new administrator

- The Washington Farm Bureau has hired Ron Saacke, formerly with the Virginia Farm Bureau, to be its top administrator.
The Washington Farm Bureau has hired Ron Saacke, most recently vice president of special programs at the Virginia Farm Bureau, to be the organization’s top administrator.
Saacke will have the title administrative vice president and will replace longtime CEO John Stuhlmiller, who left the organization in April.
“Ron brings proven leadership and experience to Washington Farm Bureau,” Farm Bureau President Rosella Mosby said in a statement. “I look forward to Ron’s Farm Bureau wisdom and his fresh perspective.”
Saacke has more than 25 years of experience with the Farm Bureau, according to a press release.
“I believe in the power of the organization, engaging advocates for the industry and solving our everyday challenges through the unique Farm Bureau grassroots policy development process,” he said in a statement.
Saacke earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business management and marketing from Virginia Tech.
