Man injured at Pasco onion processing plant

PASCO, Wash. (AP) -- Firefighters used special equipment to extricate a worker who became caught in machinery at an onion processing plant in Pasco.

KVEW reports (http://bit.ly/XyhAxn) the man suffered injuries to his right arm and shoulder in the accident Wednesday afternoon at the Freeze Pack plant.

He was flown to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.
