Grains futures mostly fall, livestock prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain prices either were flat or fell Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery fell 10.75 cents to $8.9175 a bushel; December corn was unchanged at $7.5625 a bushel; December oats were also unchanged at $3.7050 a bushel; while November soybeans dropped 22.50 cents to $15.7850 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle rose 0.30 cent to $1.25 a pound; November feeder cattle rose 0.65 cent to $1.45 a pound; while December lean hogs rose 0.87 cent to 74.62 cents a pound.
