Grain futures mixed, livestock prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain prices were mixed in early trading Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery dipped 0.25 cent to $7.42 a bushel; March corn shed 0.5 cent to $6.9825 a bushel; March oats were flat at $3.79 a bushel; while March soybeans jumped 28.5 cents to $14.53 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle fell 0.45 cent to $1.30 a pound; March feeder cattle shed 0.17 cent to $1.432 a pound; April lean hogs dropped 0.78 cent to 83.47 cents a pound.
