Grain futures mostly rise, livestock prices mixed

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain prices mostly rose Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 7.25 cents to $7.9850 a bushel; March corn rose 3.75 cents to $7.3125 a bushel; March oats were flat at $3.5550 a bushel; while March soybeans jumped 18.25 cents to $14.4750 a bushel.

Beef futures rose, while pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 0.85 cent to $1.2580 a pound; March feeder cattle rose 0.30 cent to $1.4665 a pound; February lean hogs slipped 0.08 cent to 85.27 cents a pound.
