The Troy FFA chapter was a recipient of a donation from the Pfizer Animal Health program through the Lewiston Vet Clinic. Pfizer Animal Health developed a new program which gives veterinarians and other health suppliers a chance to support local FFA chapters. The Pfizer Animal Health program has donated more than $2.38 million national. Troy is grateful to receive a generous donation from the Lewiston Vet Clinic.
The money helped the Troy FFA chapter this year by sending students to districts, state, and nationals to compete in career development events. This year, Troy was able to send six students to the National Land and Soils Evaluation Event in Oklahoma City as well as two students to the 84th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis. The donation also helped students to attend the Idaho State Leadership Conference in Twin Falls, Idaho. Troy held their annual banquet to show their appreciation towards their members, parents, and supporters. Without the support of the Lewiston Vet Clinic, Troy would not have been able to participate in as many events throughout the school year and many students would not have the opportunity to develop life skills through Agricultural Education and FFA. The Troy FFA Chapter would like to thank the Lewiston Vet Clinic and their animal health customers for making the choice to support this Pfizer Animal Health program. By choosing Pfizer Animal Health products when working with the Lewiston Vet Clinic customers are supporting local FFA programs.
