The room is full of current members of the Heppner FFA Chapter and students entering the 8th-9th grade who are interested in FFA. In Heppner, Oregon on June 5th, 2012 at six thirty the Heppner FFA chapter held a barbeque and meeting after to show kids who are interested what its like to be in FFA, and what opportunities can come from being involved. This was also the first meeting ran by the newly initiated 2012-2013 officers.
The food was provided by the officers and was cooked by Craig Miles, a member of the Friends of Heppner FFA Alumni and is the father of newly initiated treasurer Shane Miles.
The interested students got a look at how a meeting is ran, what officers say and what activities the Heppner FFA. The Heppner FFA chapter is proud to have students interested in expanding their opportunities and making new friends from other FFA chapters.
