Domestic wool trading on a clean basis was moderate this week. With 184,200 lbs. of confirmed sales this week. Demand moderate. All prices reported on a weighted average price.

Domestic wool trading on a greasy basis was moderate this week. With 12,000 lbs. of confirmed sales this week. Demand moderate. All prices reported on a weighted average price. Territory states ewe wools: 21.0 micron 60 mm BO packs $1.25; black face $.20; bellies $.65.

San Angelo, Texas

March 11

Compared to last week slaughter lambs steady to $10 lower, except at New Holland $6-8 higher; slaughter ewes steady to $10 lower; feeder lambs steady to $3 higher. At San Angelo, Texas, 5,698 head sold in a one day sale. Equity Electronic Auction sold 100 slaughter lambs in Wisconsin. In direct trading slaughter ewes $1-5 lower; feeder lambs not well tested. 6,000 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs sold $3-4 higher and 21,400 head of formulated sales were $5-6 higher. 12,359 lamb carcasses sold with 55 lbs. down higher; 55 lbs. up $5.68-6.67 higher.

SLAUGHTER LAMBS Choice and Prime 90-160 lbs.:

Intermountain area: wooled 115-150 lbs. $121-137.50; 150-180 lbs. $111-124.

SLAUGHTER LAMBS Good and Choice 1-2:

Intermountain area: 70-80 lbs. $139-145; 90-105 lbs. $129-135; 115-130 lbs. $124-128.

DIRECT TRADING (lambs FOB with 3-4 percent shrink or equivalent):

6,000 Slaughter lambs shorn and wooled 120-160 lbs. $100.75-122.50 (wtd avg 115.76); no dressed sales reported.

Idaho: 300 Slaughter Ewes Utility and Good 1-3 (medium flesh) $55 del.

FEEDER LAMBS Medium and Large 1-2:
