Domestic wool trading on a clean basis was at a standstill this week. There were no confirmed sales this week. Demand light to moderate, noting global demand is showing signs of increasing. Some of the unsold wool from last spring is starting to be offered up again as the Australian market has had stronger markets the last two weeks and a steady market this week.
Domestic wool trading on a greasy basis was very slow this week. There were 133,800 lbs. of confirmed sales this week.

The FSA effective LDP rate for wool is unchanged at $0 per pound. The FSA effective LDP rate for mohair is unchanged at $0 per pound.

Compared to Oct. 26 slaughter lambs were mostly 1$0-20 lower. Slaughter ewes were weak to $15 lower. Feeder lambs were $3-15 higher. At San Angelo, Texas, 3,765 head sold in a one-day sale. Equity Electronic Auction sold 320 slaughter lambs in North Dakota. In direct trading slaughter ewes and feeder lambs were not tested. 3,400 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were $6-7 lower and 11,600 head of formula sales of dressed lambs under 55 lbs. were not well tested; 55-65 lbs. were $7-8 higher; 65-85 lbs. sold $2-3 lower and over 85 lbs. were $3 higher. 6,677 lamb carcasses sold with 45 lbs. and down $3.02 lower; 45-55 lbs. $23.79 lower and 55 lbs. and up steady to $2 lower.

Sheep and lamb slaughter under federal inspection for the week to date totaled 38,000 compared with 44,000 last week and 42,000 last year.
