Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Ore., during November by unit trains and barges, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. All other wheat bids are for full November delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

December wheat futures trended two to 12 cents per bushel lower than Monday's closes. March Minneapolis wheat futures were 5.25 cents per bushel lower than Monday's closes, and March Kansas City wheat futures were steady compared to Monday's closes.

Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for November delivery in unit trains or barges were not available in early trading as most exporters were not issuing bids for nearby delivery.

Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for November delivery were not fully established in early trading, but were indicated as mixed, from two cents lower to two cents per bushel higher than Monday's noon bids for November delivery. Lower Kansas City December wheat futures pressured bids. Some exporters have switched their basis

to over the Kansas City March wheat futures.

Bids for 14 percent protein non-guaranteed US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for November delivery were not fully established in early trading, but bids were indicated as 1.50 to 10.50 cents per bushel lower compared to Monday's noon bids for November delivery. Lower Minneapolis December and March wheat futures and a lower basis bid pressured cash bids.

Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn delivered to Portland in single rail cars for domestic use trended 6.25 to 7.50 cents per cwt lower compared to Monday's noon bids. Corn bids truck delivered to the Yakima Valley trended 6.25 to ten cents per cwt lower compared to Monday's noon bids. Lower Chicago December corn futures and a lower basis bid by some

corn traders pressured cash corn bids.
