Grains futures mostly fall, livestock prices rise
CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain prices mostly fell Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery fell 10.25 cents to $8.74 a bushel; December corn fell 3.50 cents to $7.5325 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.6650 a bushel; while November soybeans dropped 21.25 cents to $15.39 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle rose 0.65 cent to $1.2677 a pound; November feeder cattle rose 0.93 cent to $1.4655 a pound; while December lean hogs rose 0.98 cent to 76.10 cents a pound.
