Grains futures mixed, livestock prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain prices were mixed Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 1.25 cent to $8.9075 a bushel; December corn added 0.25 cent to $7.45 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.7650 a bushel; while November soybeans rose 7 cents to $16.17 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 0.55 cent to $1.2475 a pound; October feeder cattle fell 0.53 cent to $1.4687 a pound; while October lean hogs fell 0.15 cent to 76.35 cents a pound.
