By MATTHEW WEAVER

Capital Press

Tammy Dennee is back.

On Thursday, Sept. 9, she suddenly announced her resignation as executive director of the Oregon Wheat Growers League. But by the first thing Monday morning, she announced that she was staying.

In an e-mail, sent the morning of Sept. 13, Dennee said the league board of directors had asked her to reconsider and continue with the league.

"Therefore, I will continue to serve the wheat, barley and oilseed producers of the state in this capacity going forward," Dennee said in the second e-mail.

Dennee did not immediately give a reason for her original resignation.
