Power council elects Bradbury as chair

The Northwest Power and Conservation Council has elected former Oregon Secretary of State Bill Bradbury to chair the regional energy planning agency in 2013.

Bradbury is one of two Oregon members on the council. He was appointed to the council in September 2010 by then Gov. Ted Kulongoski.

Henry Lorenzen, a former chair of the Oregon Environmental Quality Commission, is the other Oregon member on the eight-member council.

The council also elected Montana member Bruce Measure as vice chair. Measure previously was chair of the council.
