SALEM -- The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has added a public hearing on its proposed revised water-quality standards.

The meeting will be in Salem on March 7, beginning at 5:30 p.m., in Room 260 of the Oregon Labor and Industries Building, 350 Winter St. N.E.

DEQ's revised standards will be used to regulate levels of toxic pollutants in Oregon waters.

Forest and agricultural production practices could be impacted by the standards.
